A great choice for clubbing on Halloween in London is The Arts Club Mayfair. Because it is a sophisticated luxury club, you’d think they wouldn’t be able to throw a wild party. However, year after year, they surprise us by throwing one of the best Halloween parties in London. While The Arts Club Mayfair events and parties can glam up any social media feed, they’re so much fun that you won’t even want to look at your phone.

The Arts Club Mayfair Halloween Party 2021
Most Halloween parties in London mainly shuffle between the same few themes: monsters, freak shows, spirits and ghosts, and pop culture. Now, there isn’t anything wrong with these, and Annabel’s London Halloween parties are proof. Nevertheless, it’s always nice to see a new take on Halloween.
In 2021, The Arts Club Mayfair decided to add a sophisticated touch to its Halloween party by resurrecting long-gone artists and thinkers. The private club created a whole new meaning to clubbing on Halloween by keeping a simple yet luxurious decor and steering away from tacky cobwebs and the likes.
Under the theme of artists dead-or-alive, The Arts Club Mayfair invited its members to dress up as their favourite artists, thinkers, musicians, fashion designers, etc. Instead of relying on the decor to attract attention, they left the spotlight for their members to take.

While the club created a few cool pieces, like a Van Gogh tombstone, and a marvellous venue, they kept it all low-key so as not to steal the show. And, the members proved worthy of being in the spotlight. You had people dressed as everything from Van Gogh, Salvador Dali, and Frida Kahlo to Elton John, Andie Warhol, Freddie Mercury, and Marilyn Monroe.
Instead of the venue, the members of the crowd were checking each other out with a glimmer in their eyes, especially when they saw costumes that related to theirs. They were also breaking out of their usual social circles and striking up conversations all over the place.

The Arts Club Mayfair Halloween Party 2019

If you’re a party expert, you’d know that one-hit-wonders are common, but that’s far from the case with The Arts Club Mayfair. Their last Halloween party before COVID-19 featured a solid line-up that kept the crowd bopping all night long: The Fellas, Tasty Lopez, Rebecca Freckleton, and we can't forget about the DJs. It also was a classy Halloween party, so picture monsters in the usual Arts Club dress code: dress shirt, suit vest, and smart trousers.
It was another unique take on Halloween that allowed people the freedom to dress up and have a luxurious kind of fun on the spooky Hallow’s eve.
Any good party has to expand a few social circles, or at least provide a gentle push for people to interact with each other. By making sure social interaction was the main ingredient in their parties, the management of The Arts Club Mayfair proved they’re party experts. That’s why we can’t wait for their next Halloween party, and neither can our clients.
