Tape London Celebrities - Tyga at Tape London

Coronavirus managed to cripple the London nightclub scene, but it was nothing that the excellent management at Tape London club wasn’t able to handle. In fact, not only did their nightclub survive, but it thrived while attracting a regular crowd of celebrities: Drake, Pop Smoke, Travis Scott, Ludacris, Cardi B, Stormzy, and Future to name a few. With this constant flow of artists, we’ve had the chance to meet one of our favourites, Tyga at Tape London club.

The American rapper Tyga - short for 'Thank you God always’ - is known for his many successful singles, his laidback flow, and for his powerful collabs with many superstars including Drake, Offset, and Lil Wayne. For us in the London nightclub scene, he’s known for his impromptu visits and his larger-than-life lifestyle.

In August 2021, Tyga arrived in London in what we can only believe was a quick trip around the world. Almost a week before his arrival in London, Tyga was spotted in Dubai. On his Instagram account, he shared a few pictures from where he had been staying, at the Nikki Beach Resort.

He then took a private jet to London where he sang in front of the Tape London club crowd on not one, but two different nights. The star rocked a full house with a few hits, ‘Swish’, ‘Rack City Bitch’, ‘Taste’, and last but not least, his collab song with G-Eazy and Tory Lanez, ‘Still Be Friends’.

Of course. This visit was not Tyga’s first visit to Tape London club. The rapper’s absolute first visit to the club was in 2017 before he grew out his hair. It was also right around the time his break-up with Kylie Jenner took place. After all, there’s nothing like a night at Tape London to cure a broken heart.
