Tabu London: A Japanese-Themed High-Tech Mayfair Nightclub

Tabu London, located at 1 Dover Street, W1S 4LD, has two floors to cater to both house and hip hop music lovers. When you enter the venue, you walk down a staircase that leads you into a truly immersive environment.

The first level, known as Yuki Lounge, is house music. It is a classy, jungle-themed lounge that turns into a nightclub. Canapes and sushi are being freshly made at a sushi counter, and are a great way to start the night before things get crazy.

To get to the lower level, Tabu London, you go through a hidden door that will make you feel like you have been transported through a street alley to downtown Tokyo. The Japanese-themed hip hop nightclub has neon street lights on the walls, secret corridors and loads of fun Japanese-themed bottle shows.

The decorative details on both floors is what gives Tabu London its unique cultural immersion, mixed with fun and energy.

How to Get into Tabu London

To get into Tabu London, you need to be on the Tabu guestlist or have a Tabu table booking (bottle service). Since Tabu club is a high-end exclusive nightclub, capacity is limited and so it’s not easy to get into Tabu. That’s why you need a promoter trusted by the club to help book you in and sort out your night out in Mayfair.

Generally speaking, Tabu prioritises bookings from their most reputable affiliates. For a stress-free experience, you can contact us for Tabu club table booking (bottle service). For ladies and girl groups, you can join the Tabu cub guestlist by reaching out.

If you're going as a mixed group, or all male group, bottle service bookings are advisable. Booking as far in advance as possible is also best as the lower level nightclub has 19 tables that get booked up fast. Let us know more about what you're looking for and we'll be happy to secure a table booking for you.

For all-female groups that are not looking to have a private table for themselves, guestlist is a good option. Guestlist will often come with benefits such as being able to join a host table with complimentary drinks. Keep in mind that the capacity of the guestlist is quite restricted, so it's important to follow the best practices we recommend.

Tabu London Music and Vibes

Tabu London is unique in the way that it has two levels that feel entirely different. Although both floors are Japanese-inspired, the top floor plays the beats of house music from world-renowned DJs in a swanky, nature environment.

The lower level is a hop hop and RnB nightclub, with bottle shows, sparklers, dancers, and everything you would want to see on a crazy clubbing night out. If you explore the club properly you may even find some secret rooms.

If you come before 11pm you can expect to find the Tabu London restaurant on the upper level operating as a cocktail bar great for drinks and catching up with friends. As the night progresses, the doors to the lower level will open at 11pm, and the atmosphere will shift to party-mode.

The music on the upper floor will go from relaxing house to more up-beat dancing house music. Young influencers, fashionistas, elite, and models will be arriving to enjoy the upper floor's beats. By 12:30am, the entire venue will be packed. The lower level will be filled with London's high-end party goers. Dancers, kinky Japanese theatrical performances, and flamboyant bottle shows drive the nightclub's energy. With a variety of Japanese alcohols on the menu, you really can't go wrong.
