Founded in 1967, Raffles Chelsea is one of the oldest exclusive London nightclubs in the nightlife scene and on King’s Road. The club is most known for its crazy bashes, its roster of world-renowned artists and DJs, and its strict admittance policy.
Raffles didn’t earn its reputation by opening its doors for everyone as the club goes to great lengths to create a safe atmosphere. It’s all to allow their clients to get as wild, fun, and carefree as they want, and trust us when we tell you, people get very wild at Raffles.

What’s the Vibe Like?
Atmosphere
The atmosphere in Raffles Chelsea is heavy with late 60s and early 70s vibes. It’s the club’s heritage, but more than that, it is the club’s identity. The main room’s floor is covered in retro black and white patterned tiles. Meanwhile, the VIP room is all black, from floor to ceiling and everything in between.
As for the dancefloor, it’s covered in LED disco tiles. There are also mirrors everywhere - yes, even on some ceilings. Not to mention, the red round stools simply take you back to the glorious disco era. However, Raffles Chelsea isn’t just about wild parties. The place also offers an intimate setting where you can have some private time with a special someone away from the crowd. Overall, the club’s energy is so infectious, it will instantly get you in the mood.
Layout
The Raffles table map is quite simple. The club is divided into three areas: A main room, a second section, and a VIP room.
The main room contains the majority of the available Raffle Chelsea tables. They’re all arranged around the dancefloor, leaving ample space for you to dance your heart out and mingle however you want.
The second section, composed of two tables, takes up a small area in the main room, but it offers a little more privacy.
Last but not least, the VIP room. It’s separate from the main room, contains two tables, and offers a whole lot more privacy.
Crowd
The Raffles Chelsea crowd are wild, to say the least. Many of the regulars know each other since they all have a Raffles club membership. This means you can easily be part of the inner circle if you play your cards right. The main crowd there are London’s young and rich thrill-seekers. This also applies to the Raffles Chelsea celebrities, Lucy Mecklenburgh, Casey Batchelor, and more.
We should also mention that the club is frequented by the Royals: Prince Harry and Prince William and Kate Middleton.
