What’s the Vibe Like?

Atmosphere

It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the grandiosity of the Proud Embankment hall. We say hall because that’s exactly what it is. To give you a point of reference, the venue has got all the magnificence of the Hogwarts Great Hall, but on a much larger scale.

Proud Embankment’s sky-high ceiling rests on huge arched pillars. Filling the huge gap between the floor and the ceiling, a grand mezzanine with tables overlooking the central area. If you walk along the mezzanine’s handrails, you’ll reach a luxurious bifurcated staircase - like the ones you find in old palaces - which leads to the ground floor.

From the ceiling hangs a dazzling number of spotlights, shedding light on the circular tables in the central area below. On the days where aerialists are set to perform, you can expect aerial hoops to be hanging above, right next to the spotlights. To the sides of the central area, you’ll find c-shaped couches à la Las Vegas cabarets. All in all, their atmosphere is as grand and flamboyant as their performers.

Layout

For a London cabaret as big as the Proud Embankment, it’s not easy to create a layout that accommodates all guests and offers a unique view of the entertainment, while maintaining its simplicity.

The venue is divided into three sections:

The first section is the central area. It’s made up of a dancefloor and a set of circular tables perfect for large groups. We recommend this section for those who prefer to be as close to the performers and the dancefloor as one can be.

The second section is located on the sides of the central area. It consists of several c-shaped couches. While it offers a great view of the main events, it doesn’t provide you with the same immersive experience. Nevertheless, it’s a great choice if you don’t like to be in the spotlight.

The third section is the mezzanine which offers a great view of the central area and the rest of the venue. In addition to the bar, there are several tables overlooking the venue. We recommend this section if you prefer having a bird’s-eye view of the performances.

Crowd

The Proud Embankment London crowd have a few qualities in common. They're fun and always open to new experiences. What’s more is that the crowd is extremely diverse as people from different countries come to see what the fuss is about. Not to mention, the crowd is a melange of people from various age groups, so you’ll definitely find your people there. If you’re mainly interested in joining the Proud Embankment guestlist because you want to meet new people, you won’t be disappointed.
